Guide to happiness
Long-lasting happiness is most likely to be achieved in an interaction between the following five things:
If you are not healthy, you are most probably not going to be happy. You will always have your illness your mind. To prevent becoming sick, eat healthy and exercise, or just walk to work, to school, just move around. You cannot be healthy if you stay put in your desk chair all day long.
There are different ways to achieve health: You could just motivate yourself to walk to work or school, or do 20 push-ups every day. Every single step to a healthier life will satisfy your body and your consciousness .
So always remember, health is the first one and one of the most important steps to change your lifestyle and to become happier.
Relationships are difficult to handle sometimes. But they will definitely increase your self-confidence and decrease your stress-level if you limit your time speaking to people who annoy you or make you jealous. Just try to slowly distance yourself from them, and you will immediately feel better.
Invest the time you saved talking to those people into quality-time with your family or people you genuinely like.
“Choose the people who chose you. “
Contribution is one of the main ways to feel fulfilled. Nothing makes you feel better than helping other people. It doesn’t matter how you do it, but it will certainly bring you happiness. Try it out! Next time you feel bored, sign up in a voluntary homeless shelter. You will feel instantly better after helping those in need. I promise you’ll feel better than ever. If you do this regularly, you will get to know new people and you’ll feel moregrateful for what YOU have. Remember:
Someday it could be you out there grateful for a warm meal.
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
– Mother Teresa
Every person should have a passion. Or at least something you are enthusiastic about. It should be something you want to do every day. You shouldn’t need to fight yourself in the morning to get up early and practice before school or work. You should be motivated about it. You should get up early because you want to. You need to have a goal, that motivates you in every way possible. If you haven’t found your passion yet, keep looking. What you’ll eventually find will be worth it.
Everyone is interested in or motivatedabout something: Whether you like physical activity or watching movies, you have something that is fun to do.
While you’re brushing your teeth in the morning, plan your day. Think about what you need to get done in the day. Then think about what you need, be it time with your family, or the opposite, reading time for yourself. Try to implement both factors in a 70/30 ratio. For example if you work hardnow, you don’t need to do it on theweekend. So, do your homework NOW and relax later!
In the end, happiness means somethingelse to every single person. And as we said, there is an unlimited number of ways to become happy. The following phrase is a universal truth though:
